Online spells

A friend has got a fabulous little shop selling spiritual items, spells and talismans. The stock is great but he needs more customers! I asked him why he was not selling his goods online and he told me he could not afford to set up an online shop. Well there is a software package that he can install as a complete turnkey solution to his needs - no programmer required! He will be able to manage the whole business via this one complete ecommerce software package.

This store building software is so easy to use that it gives a sole trader the chance to put up a shop that gives just the same professional appearance as any of the big stores, and show his stock in the best possible light. All this is available with no upfront outlay - he just has to pay a low monthly fee. Plus there is a one month free trial to see how useful he finds it. Another thing the software allows him to do is accept credit cards from all his customers, and this increases the size of the order - most of us spend more when we are paying by credit card.

Picture show

We were recently trying to think of an original birthday present for my partner, who has everything that he wants at home, more clothes than he could ever wear - you get the picture? That was the point of inspiration - he loves to have photos of family and friends on show, but dislikes clutter. A digital photo frame is the answer. This is a stylish way to display all your favourite still photos and short film clips using a simple upload to the frame from your digital camera. Inside the digital picture frame you have a set of infrared remote controls to choose the frequency for the images to change over, so you can show a different photo every two minutes for example. In the end we chose the eight-inch clear acrylic frame with a black insert. You can now order digital frames online for a low price, I defy you to find anybody who would not like to have one!

Adsense income

Your Adsense blog can get access to a lucrative alternate source of income thanks to a fairly new service from Smorty. This company acts as a link between bloggers and advertisers who are willing to pay for sponsored blog reviews. At Smorty you register a blog - one per account - and you will receive email alerts when there is a new paid campaign for which your blog is eligible. Then you have the chance to log in to the site, claim the opportunity and you then have three days to write and publish the blog advertising post on your blog. Your post will then show as pending approval, and is normally approved within a few days. The company pays out via Paypal at the end of each month. The amount you get paid for blogging for each sponsored post varies from $6 upwards. If you want to start blogging for money, you can submit your blog today and you normally get a decision withing 24 hours, after that you can look out for blog advertising opportunities.

Supplementals - steer clear

If you have a look at the links to your Adsense site and the first result on Google shows at least a hundred results, but when you go on to the next page of results that reduces to 35 links, you will are likely to see the phrase: "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 35 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included."

So what does this mean? 65 of your pages have been dropped into the supplemental index. If you care about getting to the top of the search engine rankings then you will not want any of your web pages to show up in the supplemental index.

Out tonight

If you are like me and you always tell your friends about great places to go if they are looking for a bar in london, then imagine if there was a way you could make these recommendations online. You could help hundreds of other diners to steer well clear of dodgy places to eat out, and review the best ones. That way we all have a better night out and save a fortune!! The site where you can do this is called Trustedplaces.com. It is a type of community web site where members share their views on your opinions on places to go out that they are prepared to recommend to others, plus of course, the dives that are better avoided! Wherever you live in London this is your chance to become a local restaurant reviewer and use the power of your keyboard to good effect.

teak

Teak is the ultimate timber for use outdoors. It is strong, durable and resistant to all weathers, making teak furniture a really popular and trendy choice. And, most importantly, it looks good. Even when it ages, the wood gains a rich patina as long as you apply the occasional drop of teak oil to your furniture. Prices of teak patio furniture have plummeted in the past several years, making it much more affordable and giving all of us the chance to include classy outdoor furniture in our gardens. Because teak is a hardwood it is perfect for use as garden furniture. It is a very strong wood with a high proportion of natural oils, giving a smooth sleek appearance to any teak patio furniture with no unsightly knots and a lifetime of around 25 years with proper care. The designs available are quite opulent and generously proportioned, unlike the mean folding garden furniture that many of us had to put up with over the years. Now you and your family can dine outdoors in the same luxury as you do indoors.

Find a room

There are plenty of sites aiming to offer you a good rate when you book hotels around the world but few of these sites specialise in Amsterdam Hotels like the EasytoBook site. This is an attractive sites with some cool photos of this laidback city, and listings of almost every kind of hotel in Amsterdam. Whether you want to stay in traditional canalside Bed and Breakfast or one of the luxury Amsterdam City Hotels, you can find them here.

If you are planning to visit a number of cities in Europe you can get help here. The site has a selection of the top London Hotels. There are so many hotels for visitors to London, it can be hard to know the best place to stay. Having lived here all my life, I would recommend staying close to Covent Garden and Soho, where many of the best and longest established hotels in London are situated. Here you will be close to the British Museum, Trafalgar Square and the Houses of Parliament. Everything else is within a short Underground ride, or you can travel around on a famous red London Bus.

Just across the Irish Sea is Dublin, the city that always loves to party. Again the best idea is to stay close to the centre, but book ahead if you want to spend a weekend here or you could be disappointed. Some of the best Dublin hotels will be booked for all the weekends for months ahead, but EasyToBook should be able to help you find a comfortable room at a good price.
